Home-made leave-in-conditioner!

So I was going through Instagram and I came across a post about a hair regrowth mixture, which I thought was cool since all of the ingredients are exceptional ingredients in the hair world. I’ve been on a home-made remedy binge since I am determined to get my hair to the length that I desire.

PSA: I am by no means an expert on hair, I am just passing along information that I have found to be extremely useful.

What you’ll need:

  • Coconut oil ( any brand you’d like or are comfortable using)
  • Aloe Vera ( I like to use the actual plant, but you could use the already  made in bottle ones)
  • Lavender oil
  • Rosemary oil
  • Blender

Benefits for hair:

Coconut oil

  • Stimulates hair growth
  • Has antimicrobial, antibacterial, and anti fungal properties
  • Dandruff/ Dry Hair
  • Adds shine and luster to hair
  • Great for split end

Aloe Vera

  • Promotes hair growth
  • Leaves your hair all smooth and shiny
  • Relieves Scalp Itching
  • Helps Hair Retain Water & Moisture

Lavender oil

  • Promotes hair growth
  • Reduces hair loss by reducing shedding
  • Moisturizing

Rosemary Oil

  • Treats hair loss
  • Have anti-inflammatory properties
  • Promote nerve growth
  • Improve circulation

  1. Get your blender and in it, add the coconut oil – as much as you need.
  2. Grab your stem of aloe vera and cut out the jelly part, put it in the blender and set the rest aside or throw it away, whatever you want to do.
  3. Add two to three drops of both the lavender and the rosemary oil
  4. Blend ingredients into liquid consistency
  5. Strain any remaining pulp
  6. On freshly washed and preferably moist to damp hair, apply mixture.
  7. Style as usual

Here’s to a great hair day!!!♥♥♥
